If you are thinking about online therapy, telephone therapy or face to face therapy, please call or email to arrange a free 15 minute consultation. This will give us the opportunity to understand your current situation, what you are looking to achieve and to answer any questions you may have. If we are a good fit, and you are happy to do so, we can arrange further sessions going forward.
Any differences between these two terms are rather minor. Some people would say that counselling is more short-term whilst psychotherapy is a long-term treatment. I use these two terms interchangeably and am qualified as both a counsellor and psychotherapist.

Yes, I have full insurance to cover for any eventuality.
Weekly sessions are normally recommended. If you would like additional sessions in the week, this is something we can discuss.
Please make sure to give me at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a session. This will prevent you from losing your fee and/or your time slot. Cancellation can be made either through email, text or voicemail, whatever works best for you.
If you prefer to conduct therapy from the comfort of your own home this can be arranged. Please ensure that your home has a private space away from any distractions. I work within a 10 mile radius of the city centres of Glasgow and Sharjah/ Dubai. If you would like me to travel further than this, a travel fee may apply.
If you would like video chat therapy, you need a computer with an internet connection in a safe and private setting. I use Skype or Zoom for these sessions. Online chat sessions are through a chat function on the website which you will be given access to at the time of your session.
Payment can be made by cash or through a bank transfer prior to your session. Card payments on the day will be operational soon for face to face sessions.
